The Commonwealth v. Stephen Dews trial begins on Friday, October 21, 2016. Mr. Dews is accused of causing the death of his wife, Gail Dews, by pushing her into a ravine at Shohola Falls, Shohola, PA, on March 10 or 11, 2013. Jury selection method will be individual voir dire, which means that each juror will be individually examined by both the Commonwealth and the Defense.
According to Attorney Weinstein, Mr. Dews has maintained and looks forward to establishing his innocence in this matter. The trial will be heard in front of the Honorable Gregory H. Chelak in the Pike County Court, and is being prosecuted by District Attorney, Ray Tonkin and Assistant District Attorney Bruce DeSarro.
